It’s nearly April, so Half-Hourly metered companies need to think about the CRC.

The CRC (Carbon Reduction Commitment) Energy Efficiency Scheme comes into effect on the 1st April 2010.

It’s not only the very largest companies/energy consumers that have to participate under the new CRC legislation.

If you have a Half-Hourly meter, you need to disclose information about your energy usage. But you do not have to pay any fees on top of your bill due to the CRC.

The window is now open for Half-Hourly metered businesses. You have until the 1st October 2010 to register your company as a participant of the CRC scheme.
